Xinhao Wang

Northeastern University

I am Xinhao Wang, an incoming Ph.D. student at Northeastern University. My research primarily focuses on Vision-Language-Action (VLA) and Large Vision Language Models (LVLMs). I am currently in the NEUIR Lab under the guidance of Associate Professor Zhenghao Liu.

Outside research, I enjoy taking care of succulents and other green plants, and I like playing computer games. My current favorite game is Where Winds Meet. If you share these interests, I would be glad to connect and grow together 📞.

  • We define and measure creativity in text-to-image generation, build an automated benchmark construction pipeline, and show through extensive experiments that current T2I models still have limited creativity.

Mitigating Object Hallucination Through Assembled Chain-of-Thought Reasoning

  • We propose A-CoT, a training-free assembled chain-of-thought reasoning method that combines diverse CoT prompts during decoding to reduce object hallucination in large vision-language models.
